How to measure the size of my cane?
Method 1 - Measuring an Existing Cane:
Measure the length from the top of the cane's handle to the bottom of its rubber tip. Then, round this measurement up to the nearest half-inch.
Method 2 - Measuring the Cane User:
Ensure the user has shoes on.
The user should stand upright in a comfortable, natural position.
Allow the user's arms to hang naturally at their sides, with elbows slightly bent.
Measure from the bottom crease of the wrist joint down to the floor using a tape measure. To ensure accuracy, it's recommended that someone else reads the measurement to prevent the wrist from moving. Round this measurement up to the nearest half-inch.
Method 3 - Based on User's Height:
Simply divide the user's height (in inches) by 2. This method provides an approximate cane length.
